A recent signing to Human Records saw 20 year old Gold Coast hip-hop artist Jesswar launch her debut EP Peachy at The Zoo last Friday night.
With her music already on high rotation at Triple J, the EP is an explosive preview of what is to come on her upcoming album which will be produced by Guy Cooper at Serotonin Productions.
Jesswar’s personality oozes throughout Peachy. Acid Fantasy is the perfect opening track with beats that would be well-housed within the walls of a nightclub. The lead track Jelly is another definite highlight with upbeat grooves that you can’t help rapping along to, while Lips and Bitchy end the record with Nicki Minaj style sass.
Peachy’s laid back vibe would serve well as the soundtrack to your next house party.
