Maja, one of Brisbane’s most raw and passionate navigators of soul, folk and blues, is today unveiling her second single The Dreamer.
Featuring tambourine, 1960s-style organ solos and an extended chorus with layered vocal harmonies, The Dreamer transports the listener to carefree summer days spent soaking up the sun. It’s a light-hearted and uplifting track inspired by 18 year old innocence.
“The Dreamer is all about finding your feet and following your dreams,” Maja said.
The song follows on from the release of Maja’s debut single Treat Me Right, continuing the open story she is writing to her fans. Her music is personal, thought-provoking and always upbeat. The Dreamer will feature on Maja’s forthcoming EP which is due out next month.
With her inventive arrangements and quirky stage presence, Maja is a rising star to keep an eye on!
