Holiday romances that fizzle out, sliding doors moments that change paths and star-crossed love; at some point in time we all lose love.  It’s these token moments Kyle Morley immortalises in his debut single Atlantic Winter Cruise.

Inspired sonically by the likes of Husky, Holy Holy and Foals, Atlantic Winter Cruise is both mournful and magical; pensive yet hopeful. As Kyle recalls his own experience of lost love, he transports listeners back in time and evokes within them, their own nostalgic journey.

“Atlantic Winter Cruise is very much a failed love song about a girl I was seeing from overseas who eventually had to go home. Writing this song was a way of telling myself everything would be ok,” said Kyle.

“The song has a vintage vibe which I hope gives listeners an intimate experience of the music.”

With a penchant for writing about whatever is on his mind, Kyle says he’d like to release two EPs this year – one solo, and one with his indie-rock band Huntington.

“At the moment, I’m focused on writing for myself and the band. I also want to keep performing with Huntington – we’re having a great time playing around South-East Queensland.”
