To top off an incredible year that saw the release their debut EP, a single in the Triple J Unearthed Top 20 and countless shows in Brisbane’s hippest venues, rock-reggae locals Hemingway are unveiling their debut music video for new single Peter Pan.
PETER PAN – HEMINGWAY
Peter Pan, as the title suggests, is about not wanting to grow old and was inspired by vocalist Brad Hemingway’s doubts over beginning a music degree in his twenties.
“I was starting my music degree at 23 and feeling like I was too old to be pursuing this dream and then the words ‘I don’t want to grow old’ popped into my head and the song took shape from there,” he said.
The music video was produced by Guy Crofts and shows live footage from the band’s gig at The Motor Room in November.
“The film clip is really about showing the world what we do onstage and celebrating one of our favourite tracks off the EP. Playing live is our element, so we thought let’s capture what we do best!”
