“Blood On Your Shoes is about the fear of letting go of something that is so familiar but knowing that you can’t keep things going as they are,” said the singer-songwriter.
“The lyrics turned out pretty dramatic and bold but I didn’t want it to be a sad song. I wanted it to be celebratory and express the freedom in taking control of my own circumstances.”
