The wait is over. Brisbane rockers Her Affinity are today unveiling their debut single Waiting; proving good things really do come to those who wait.
Drawn from personal experiences, the track is all about pushing through those tough times in life.
“Waiting is about having someone to rely on when you’re going through a rough patch. Not necessarily a partner but just someone, a friend or family member, who is there for you,” said guitarist Josh Jones.
With more of a pop-vibe than their previous work, Waiting still remains true to the loud rock sound the band are known for. They’re currently working on their debut EP and are looking forward to launching their new single at Vincent & Jules Cookies & Cream Series at The Backroom this Friday.
“We’re going to step up the energy even more at the show. As a performer you always feed off the audience’s energy. If there are a heap of people digging what you’re putting out it really takes everything to the next level. We can’t wait!”
