Jungle Love Festival kicks off this Friday, 27 November and if, like us, you’ll be leaving your packing till the last minute, never fear – Golden Age Of Ballooning’s Chris Boardman has some tips to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the festivities.
Golden Age Of Ballooning have already played multiple festivals this year and are happy to be rounding out 2015 with a spot on the Jungle Love line-up.
“When the organisers approached us to play Jungle Love we were happy to be involved. There’s so many great Brisbane bands on the line-up that we can’t wait to see,” said Chris.
With an array of music, art, film, panel discussions and workshops to indulge in, there will be no shortage of things to do at the two-day festival.
“There’s plenty of cool things to do at Jungle Love. It’s set in a deer park so I’m really hoping we’ll get to see some deer and we’ll definitely be swimming in the creek. It’s also one of our band member’s (Jack’s) birthday, so we’ll be throwing a big party for him while we’re there too!”
As a seasoned festival-goer, Chris has the following practical tips on what to bring to the festival to make sure you make the most of your Jungle Love experience without leaving sunburnt and mosquito bitten!
GOLDEN AGE OF BALLOONING’S JUNGLE LOVE QUICK TIPS
Bring swimmers for the creek.
Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent – that’s a must!
No dickheads, leave your attitude at home. I stole this one from another festival we played at earlier this year called Hobbstock. This was under their list of things not to bring!
Bring cash because there’s no ATMs.
Don’t forget your towel.
Add those to your list and don’t forget your ticket! Jungle Love runs from 27-28 November. All line-up, timetable and ticket information can be found on the Jungle Love website.
Check out Golden Age Of Ballooning on Facebook, head along to their set and don’t forget to wish Jack a happy birthday while you’re there!
