ÆTHER Sessions are back for round nine, showcasing four mind-bending Brisbane acts on Woolly Mammoth’s Mane Stage on Friday, 27 July.

Leading the pack as headliner are neighbourhood transcendental giants Belligerent Goat, who’ll be carving out a sonic shape of psych-rock that’ll make your brain melt (in a good way). The Brisbane Conduction Orchestra, the city’s newest improvisational ‘anti-ensemble’ will be opening the night, with math-jazz fusion The Biology Of Plants and dream-pop mavens Lava Nova completing the bill.

Started in 2016 by a small team of Brisbane-based music lovers, ÆTHER Sessions is an audio-visual show series that showcases local talent and offers a novel live music experience. Different from your usual gig in a dark bar, each show employs a combination of ambient lighting, visual projections, and glowing décor, complete with comfy pillows and cosy blankets to create a fully immersive experience. Session #9 will be no exception.

Promising good music and good times, ÆTHER Session #9 is the ideal spot for your Friday night, combining the comforts of staying in with the excitement of going out.

ÆTHER Session #9  kicks off at The Woolly Mammoth on Friday, 27 July at 8PM. All event info available HERE.
